Interwoven histories: a Sunday Social
In collaboration with Miranda Bennett Studio, Interwoven Histories is a Sunday social to celebrate our shared histories as Asian-American womxn. Join us for community, a moderated panel, and opportunities to shop from female Asian-American makers curated by MBS.
We’ll also have light refreshments, an interactive art installation using zero waste scraps from Miranda Bennett Studio, and chances to win some fire raffle prizes.
The first ever arts and cultural festival of its kind, our goals are to bring visibility to self-identifying female Asian-American entrepreneurs and creatives, provide them with an opportunity to share and profit from their work, and build community starting in Austin, Texas.
When the sun sets, swing by in your brightest floral prints and linen shirts for a good ass Friday night. We’ll have a custom cocktail by Flor de Caña Rum, small bites from Lemongrass, a photobooth, and a fuego music lineup curated by Chido Machine and DJ Ellá Ellá.
